Standing in the GAP is a place, a ministry that was birthed in the spirit on May 21, 2005 in Toronto Canada. This ministry exists to minister to women through the power of Almighty God, to women that have been broken, been in places of desolation, lonely, sick, tired, weary and hopeless. It exists to heal and to restore and to empower all women, to help them to be reconciled to their Abba Father. So many women feel that they are forgotten, unloved, unwanted and discarded. We reach the women of today and the young women who are the future of tomorrow with the powerful life changing message of the gospel.
It bridges these souls to the light of Jesus Christ. We believe that we were created as a precious Royal Priesthood and have been equipped to accomplish specific tasks as led by the Holy Spirit.
The enemy have bound so many with life circumstances and situations, in the making of bad decisions, disappointments and sorrows. But God is here! JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH, THE GREAT I AM, to heal the broken-hearted, revive the hopeless, heal the sick, embrace the lonely and the desolate and to set the captives free. God uses people and Standing in the GAP Outreach Retreat and Conference is an extension of God’s heart positioned to care for His children.
It is a place where women come into an “ENCOUNTER” with Almighty God. It is a time where the miraculous move of God ministers to every woman individually and collectively like a symphony like a complete harmony and in solemn praise. The power of God outpours like the latter rain, to bring forth restoration and revival of the soul. Standing in the GAP is God’s gift poured out to bring women to the full knowledge of who they are, and to whom they belong.
With God’s intervention, the international conference was launched in Lucea, Jamaica on August 6, 2011. The ministry expanded again on October 19, 2013 where sessions were added to minister to men who were seeking a dynamic encounter with God
God’s hand has been great on the ministry of Standing in the GAP, and we are pleased to have had over the last few years conferences in Jamaica and Antigua. It is our committment to remain obedient to God's word as he moves us to stand in the gap for women world wide
